Yves Beck: 90 Points
Ruby red with garnet reflections. Beautiful olfactory intensity with slightly smoky notes and lots of fruit. Pleasant mineral touch. The palate confirms the aptitudes of the bouquet with a beautiful fruity intensity. There is crunch and freshness. A balanced, juicy, perfectly balanced wine with silky tannins.
Alain Lebel (Canada: Fideles de Bacchus): 89 Points
Camille de Labrie is a family affair. A beautiful and tasty story. First of all because it is a couple, Axelle and Pierre Courdurié, who own the estate. Axelle, is the passionate alchemist who offers us wines of an elegance and an unusual truth even in this cuvée produced from a selection of the best grapes of the appellation, which automatically makes it a proud representative of the “Bordeaux” appellation. For his part, Pierre is mainly responsible for marketing, while the young daughter of the couple "Camille" gave her name to this cuvée in addition to designing the label. In this price range, this is one of the sexiest and best made Bordeaux that I have tasted in recent years. Well structured, friendly and full of finesse, it is a wine that gives the taste of drinking good Bordeaux!
